fraud0 supports the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe in the fight against AI-generated fake traffic

The machines are taking over the internet. Bots are now responsible for 57% of internet traffic. Fake accounts are flooding social networks and millions of spam websites are going online. AI is acting as an accelerant. To put the scale into perspective: Meta deletes more than 6 billion fake accounts every year. Almost the entire world population once over.

For companies, this is a billion-dollar problem. Every year, well over 100 billion dollars are lost worldwide due to bot traffic and ad fraud. Companies need to prevent millions in budget from being spent on bots.

The Munich-based cybersecurity company fraud0 is now also supporting the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe in detecting AI-generated fake traffic on Sparkasse.de, reducing ad fraud and using media budgets more effectively.

fraud0 acts like a digital scanner at an airport. In the background, it checks whether website visitors are real people or bots and fake users. Non-human users are automatically excluded on Google, Meta and other platforms. At the same time, fraud0 reclaims money already paid for bot-generated clicks. For some customers, up to 20% of their Google marketing budget has been recovered this way.
